Today, the ICJ presented an oral statement to the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection on Human Rights.
It called on the Sub-Commission to elaborate detailed guidelines on the question of human rights and the fight against terrorism. While such guidelines have been or are being drafted and examined in regional systems, they do not exist in the United Nations system yet.
