ICJ third party intervention before the Norwegian Supreme Court on interim measures of the Committee Against Torture

The ICJ submitted a third party intervention to the Supreme Court of Norway in the case of Nadeem Dar, who was returned to Pakistan contrary to a request for interim measures from the Committee Against Torture.

The ICJ argued that the Committee’s requests for interim measures are binding in international law.
